RJ Biotech Limited is one of the few seed companies in India having its own Research & Development. RJ Biotech started its research activity in the year 2005. The Research Centres are located at Aurangabad and Hyderabad backed by vast experienced and renowned scientists and Senior Breeders assisted by Junior Breeders.

The objective of R & D is to develop proprietary hybrids with nutritional and economical traits in Fibre Crops like Cotton, Cereal crops like Paddy, Maize, etc. and Vegetable crops as per preference of consumer, to help enhance productivity and economic value with indirect aim of betterment of Indian Agriculture.

The R & D Centres are recognized by DSIR (Department Of Scientific & Industrial Research, Ministry Of Agriculture, New Delhi).

The research activities of Vegetable and Cotton are carried out at Aurangabad research centre whereas the research activities on Paddy and Maize are taken care by Hyderabad R & D centre.

RJ Biotech has tied up with Agriculture Universities of various states for its multi location trials.

The company has established various technological tie-ups with central institutes like Indian Institute of Rice Research, Directorate of Maize Research and Agriculture Universities of various states. We have tie-up with Mahyco Monsanto Biotech (MMB) for Bt Cotton.

The company has a collection of more than 5700 varieties of germplasm in various crops.

The R &D team is fully focused on its objective and keeps on working for product development and crop improvement.
